The Rowan County Sheriffs Office charged a China Grove man with raping a 15-year-old girl.
Tracey Harlan Jarvis, 39, of 512 Daugherty Road, was arrested Monday and faces charges of statutory rape/sex offense and first-degree sex offense of a child.
He was charged Tuesday with an additional count of statutory rape and first-degree sex offense.
Officials said the girl was known to him. He remains in the Rowan County jail under $75,000 bond.
