Capt. Corbin Murtaugh
Corbin (Cory) Murtaugh has recently been promoted to the rank of captain in the United States Marine Corps. He is a CH 53 helicopter pilot and his squadron is based out of Miramar, Calif.
Murtaugh is a graduate of Appalachian State University and West Rowan High School. He is the son of Jim and Pat Murtaugh of Salisbury. He has a sister, Colleen, of Wilmington.
He is currently serving his second deployment to Iraq.
