Salisbury Police are looking for two men who robbed a Super 8 Motel clerk at gunpoint early Monday.
About 12:30 a.m., two men ran into the motel with semi-automatic handguns and told the clerk to give up the register, police reports said.
One of the suspects jumped the counter and told the clerk to put the money in a plastic grocery bag he was carrying. He also took money from the clerks purse. The suspect grabbed a cordless phone and threw it against a wall.
The two suspects, both black males, ran out the front door. The first suspect is described as being between 6-foot-3 and 6-foot-5. He had an athletic build. He wore a black baseball cap, a bandanna over his face, a black shirt and gray or khaki-colored shorts.
The second suspect is described as being shorter than the first. He was also wearing a bandanna over his face. He wore a white baseball cap and a white T-shirt.
It is unknown if the suspects left on foot or in a vehicle.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333.
