Christina Miller, of Rockwell, improved her rating as recognized by the United State Pony Clubs Inc. during a recent examination.
Christina, 16, the daughter of Richard and Debbie Miller, is a member of the Central Piedmont Pony Club. Leaders of the club are Sam Sobataka and Kathy Hamilton of Salisbury.
Christina took an exam on May 20 to improve her rating from C1 to C2, under the standardized system recognized by U.S. Pony Clubs, a nonprofit organization that has about 12,000 members in 625 clubs across the country.
Christina has passed four previous standardized rating tests since joining the Central Piedmont Club in 2006.
