Vance Paul Childers, 45, 906 Safrit Road, was charged June 11 with failure to work after being paid. He was held under $2,000 secured bond pending the next term of Rowan Superior Court.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Robert Franklin Rawls, 46, 725 Choate Road, was charged June 12 with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. He was held under $300 secured bond pending an Aug. 1 trial date.
– Johnny Ray Patterson, 40, 408 E. Third St., Kannapolis, was charged June 12 with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of Kidd Street in Kannapolis. Trial date is July 23.
