Catawba graduate
Ashley Nichole Overcash graduated from Catawba College May 12 with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.
At Catawba, Overcash was the recipient of the Phil Kirk and Rowan scholarships. She was also secretary/treasurer of the Students of North Carolina Association of Educators.
The 2003 North Rowan High School graduate plans to teach kindergarten.
She is the daughter of Debbie McKinney of Salisbury.
