Competitors and spectators came from North and South Carolina and Virginia to enjoy the tractor pull held at the Rowan County Fairgrounds.
The event, held June 15 and 16, featured more than 35 competitors and drew crowds in the hundreds.
The family friendly weekend featured tractor pulls in four divisions, as well as three divisions for trucks.
“We have families competing in several divisions,” said Cindy Adkins, who runs the Alarm South Series with her husband Brent.
“Often, there are several generations competing together,” Adkins said.
Second-generation pullers Lauren Walters and her sister Sarah have been pulling a tractor called “Movin’ Dirt” with their father Perry for five years.
The Alarm South Series features events all spring and throughout the early summer.
