Hollins graduate
Kristy Marie Hanson is a May 20 graduate of Hollins University in Roanoke, Va. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English and graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors.
Hanson was also named a honors student for earning at least a 3.5 grade-point average during the spring semester.
A graduate of East Rowan High School, she is the daughter of Robert and Arlene Hanson of Salisbury.
