Wingate scholarship
Brian Christopher Ingold, a 2007 graduate of East Rowan High School, has been awarded the Irwin W. Belk Scholarship to attend Wingate University this fall.
The academic award, Wingate’s most prestigious, has a four-year value of $56,000, or $14,000 per academic year. It is awarded to students who are in the top of their graduating class and who have demonstrated a high degree of leadership and character.
Ingold is the son of Dennis and Kathleen Ingold of Rockwell.
