EAST SPENCER ó Police have charged five people with various drug charges after a search of a house at 207 N. Long St.
Police served a search warrant on the home as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, according to a press release.
Those charged include:
– Charisse M. Shavers, 36, of 207 N. Long St., possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
– William L. Jenkins, 34, 513 E. Henderson St., East Spencer, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.- Cynthia D. Gwinn, 39, of 608 Fourth St., Spencer, possession of drug paraphernalia.
– James Junior Blakney, 52, 207 N. Long St., East Spencer, possession of drug paraphernalia.
– Samuel Tisdale, 44, 412 Railroad St., East Spencer, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
