A 36-year-old Salisbury man has been charged with multiple counts of first-degree rape and other sex offenses with a young girl.
Miguel Andrade, 36, of 2835 Airport Road, was arrested Monday by Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies. He faces nine counts of rape and nine counts of sex offense against a child.
Officials said Andrade knows the victim and that the assaults occurred over a period of time.
He remained in the Rowan County jail Wednesday under a $200,000 bond.
