The Crescent Republican women’s Club in Rowan County is sending Christmas packages to military men and women overseas.
The club prepared 12 boxes of essentials such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hand sanitizer and other items.
Accompanying the boxes are cards from children wishing the soldiers a merry Christmas and thanking them for their service.
