A 27-year-old woman was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center on Thursday afternoon after her truck flipped several times on Bringle Ferry Road, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol.
Holly Overcash was going north on Bringle Ferry Road when her car veered off the road to the right.
She overcompensated and ran into a bank on the left side of the road, and her 2004 Ford F250 flipped, pinning her in the vehicle.
She was able to talk when the rescue crew removed her from the car, and she was airlifted as a precaution because of the severity of the accident, Trooper C.F. Rogers said.
A representative from Carolinas Medical Center said there was no record of Overcash in the hospital’s database.
