Update on education goals

Dr. Henry L. Johnson, former U.S. assistant secretary of Education for Elementary and Secondary Education, shared factors that impact educational outcomes with faculty, students and guests at Livingstone College this morning.
A 1968 graduate of Livingstone and the former associate superintendent for the N.C. Department of Public Instruction, Johnson grouped those factors into four categories: schooling, family, community and individual differences.
