Three arrested in drug bust

Authorities charged three men with drug possession as the men were loading up a car with marijuana, bound for another location.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office seized 2,046 grams of marijuana in the basement of a Salisbury residence.
The incident occurred Friday at 1801 Statesville Blvd.
Brandon Lee Michael, 26, and William Travis Michael, 30, were both charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brandon Michael was also served with two orders for arrest for failure to appear in court.
William Michael was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $20,000 secured bond and Brandon Michael was placed under $36,000 secured bond.
Robert Scott Miller, 40, was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Miller was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $15,000 secured bond.
When investigators arrived at the home, a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro was backed up to the front door with the rear hatch of the car open.
Investigators found the three men inside where they found 2,046 grams of marijuana in the basement of the residence.
It was later learned the suspects were in the process of hiding the marijuana in the Camaro and were going to deliver it to another location, a statement said.
