Police arrested a juvenile for breaking into vehicles on West Council Street and later threatening to burn down the house of one victim if she didn’t leave him money.
The Salisbury Police received a call to a car break-in at 616 W. Council St. The victim told them her vehicle had been broken into.
The woman’s neighbor also had items taken from her vehicle.
The juvenile, a 15-year-old Salisbury teen, sent the woman a text message saying if she did not leave $100 in her glove box then he would burn the house down.
The Post does not name juveniles involved in crimes.
Police were waiting for the teenager. He was arrested following a short foot chase.
