Sunday night Rushco robber has description similar to last week’s robbery suspect at a different Rushco

KANNAPOLIS ó For the second Sunday night in a row, an armed robber hit a convenience store on North Cannon Boulevard.
The robber struck at the Rushco convenience store in the 2500 block of North Cannon Boulevard near Landis around 9 p.m., according to police radio traffic.Rowan County’s 911 system broadcast an advisory to area law enforcement agencies shortly after the robbery.
The description of the robber appeared to be almost identical to the description of the man who robbed the Rushco at the corner of North Cannon and Lane Street last Sunday around 11 p.m.
The man is described as being white with a mustache.
In the earlier robbery, the police report described the man as being white, 45 to 55 years old with a medium build and a mustache.
Also, in the earlier Rushco robbery, the man displayed a small, black handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash, leaving the area on foot.
