LANDIS ó Some Landis electricity customers will have their power turned off Saturday as the town performs routine maintenance on its substation.
Duke Energy is assisting the town with the outage, which is scheduled for 7 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The outage is for Landis Public Power customers on select roads.
“Most of our customers will be involved in the South Rowan area, the town of Landis and city of Kannapolis,” said Town Administrator Reed Linn.
Linn said some customers may not be affected, but their neighbors on the same street will not have power. They may not be on the same circuit.
The following areas will be affected:
