UNC-TV’s “N.C. Weekend” segment featuring the current Salisbury Sculpture Show will air at 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday.
The sculpture show, “Discover What’s Outside,” features 14 pieces from 13 N.C. and S.C. artists, whose works are displayed in Salisbury’s downtown through December.Joe Rowand, owner of Somerhill Gallery in Durham, visited Salisbury May 27 to judge the pieces for Best in Show awards.
The Public Art Committee will present cash awards to the winners at noon Saturday during the annual Art on Easy Street event.
All of the exhibiting sculptors have been invited to attend.
