Salisbury-Rowan Senior Games coming in April

Salisbury/Rowan Senior Games takes place in Rowan County April 14-May 1.
The deadline to register is April 1.
Competitions offered include a golf tournament, softball, three-on-three basketball, archery, billiards, bocce, racquetball, track and field, horseshoes, swimming, cycling events and more.
The games are for competitors 55 and older.
Entry forms are available at the YMCA, Ellis Park and Rufty Holmes Senior Center.
Salisbury/Rowan Senior Games will host a “Celebrity Kick Off” April 4 at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. Gates open at noon.
Senior softball players will compete against NFL players. Guests include former Carolina Panthers player Tommy Barnhardt, former New England Patriots player Ben Coates and others.
Admission is $5 for adults Children 12 and younger get in free.
