Salisbury police seek thieves who stole gun, jewelry worth thousands

Salisbury Police are investigating the burglary of a house at Hidden Creek Circle during which jewelry worth thousands was taken.
The homeowner had been on vacation and returned to find several pieces of heirloom jewelry that had belonged to her grandparents was missing, a report said. She said some pieces were worth more than $6,000.
Thieves entered the house through a bathroom window where some of the jewelry had been stored. Also taken was a 32-caliber revolver that was more than 30 years old.
The burglary occurred between June 14 and August 1.
