Salisbury Police arrest one of Most Wanted

One of Salisbury’s Most Wanted is now in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Police arrested Antoine Lamont Cowan Tuesday on a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Cowan was arrested in Chesapeake, Va., by authorities there and transported to Salisbury.
According to Salisbury Police, Cowan, 28, of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, was charged with the robbery of Dennis Herron on Knox Street on June 1.
Police say Cowan took cash and a cell phone in the robbery.
Cowan is being held in jail with bond set at $20,000. He also faces non-support charges.
Cowan has an extensive record with the N.C. Department of Correction dating to 1998 involving larceny, assault and other charges.
