Salisbury, Mooresville men charged in drug busts

Officials with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and Iredell County Sheriff’s Department were involved in a series of drug arrests Wednesday.
The charges stem from the sale of the drug Ecstacy to an undercover officer. Other drugs were also involved in the busts.
According to arrest warrants filed at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, Jeremy Eugene Motley, 18, of 255 Archer Road, Salisbury, was charged with two counts of conspiring to sell ecstacy. He is accused of attempting to sell more than 100, but less than 500 doses of Ecstacy to Detective Sgt. K.L. Black of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department.
His bond is $100,000 and he’s being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. His first court appearance is this morning.
Also charged Wednesday in the same bust was Mark Albert Blassingame, 40, of 225 Ephraim Drive, Salisbury, and Justin Wayne Williams, 20, of Mooresville.
Blassingame is charged with possession with intent to sell and distribute a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine, possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held under a $100,000 bond.
Williams is charged with possession with intent to manufacture and sell a schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s held under $25,000 bond.
