Under advisement of Tracy Sentilles, first graders from Sacred Heart Catholic School provided artwork for display at the Rowan Public Library for October.
The board was displayed as part of a program that showcases artwork throughout the school year by Rowan County Schools. It is displayed at the entrance to the children’s room.
Students from Sacred Heart are serving as participants in art projects led by volunteers Margaret Nobles and Virginia Robertson. Also, students are participating in Artstop, a program of the Waterworks’ Visual Arts Center in Salisbury.
