The Rowan-Salisbury School System has cancelled classes for Tuesday.
A call went out from the school system around 7:20 p.m. this evening saying neither students nor teachers would report to schools Tuesday.
Weather forecasters say temperatures falling below 20 degrees tonight will refreeze areas where snow and ice had melted Monday, making driving potentially hazardous Tuesday morning.
