Rowan Regional offers health-care decision help
Published 12:00 am Tuesday, December 1, 2009
Rowan Regional Medical Center will provide information, assistance and advice on the importance of advance health-care decision-making on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon in the lobby.
Individuals will be able to execute written advance directives (health-care power of attorney and living wills) if they wish. This event is in accordance with National Healthcare Decisions Day, a nationwide observance highlighting the importance of advance health-care decision- making.
“We encourage people to have thoughtful conversations about their health-care decisions and complete, reliable advance directives to make their wishes known,” said James Cook, chaplain at the medical center. “This is another way that our team at Rowan Regional Medical Center can care for our community.”
