Police in Kannapolis were looking for a robbery suspect Saturday after a holdup at the Independent-Tribune newspaper building. Communications alerts said the suspect used a silver handgun and made off with $1,000 in the robbery just after 11 p.m. at the Cloverleaf Plaza. Kannapolis Police said no one had been caught before midnight.
