The first issue of The Kannapolis Citizen & Researcher rolls off the presses this week to be distributed to readers in the Kannapolis area.
The C&R is a revamped, monthly version of the Kannapolis Citizen, a weekly paper the Post launched in 2003. It is a sister publication of the Salisbury Post.
The 40-page tab includes the latest news from the N.C. Research Campus, including updates from all the universities and a monthly focus on the work of a participating school. The research being done by Appalachian State University is featured in the March issue.
It also includes community information ó a calendar, education briefs and area news ó and advertising from area businesses and professionals.
