Deadline for posters is 5 p.m.
– Dr. Jim Emerson, head of the Rowan Salisbury School Board, and Rita Foil, information officer for Rowan-Salisbury Schools, will present an overview of the school system and answer audience questions at a dinner program
Wednesday at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 1620 Brenner Ave., in the fellowship hall. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30. Call the church, 704-633-4333, to make a reservation.
– “Celebration of Life” a friendly gathering of breast cancer survivors, is meeting Monday, Oct. 12 at Ryan’s Steakhouse, 730 S.
