Staff report
Two masked men robbed the Country Cupboard store at 2010 Statesville Blvd. Friday night, escaping with money from the cash register.
Police hope images from a surveillance camera will help catch the robbers.
Salisbury Police Officer T.J. Crews said the two men entered the store shortly before 11 p.m.
The two clerks on duty told police both men hid their faces with some type of mask, believed to be bandannas.
The men displayed a handgun and demanded money.
No one was injured.
A blue Kia was spotted in the area, but police aren’t sure if that was the robbers’ means of escape.
Both men are described as being in their 20s and white.
One was described as being over 6 feet tall and weighing around 250 pounds. He had a reddish beard.
The other man is described as being “much smaller,” with a small patch of facial hair under his bottom lip.
Police expect to release photos at a later time.
