Authorities are looking for a man they believe robbed a Kannapolis convenience store early Monday morning.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the 2:35 a.m. robbery at Express Mart, 2720 W. C St., to contact them.
Officials are looking for William Mitchell Jones of 1328 Burke St., Kannapolis.
Jones is said to have gone into the store demanding money. He and the store clerk argued. The clerk pulled out a baseball bat and the suspect threatened the clerk with a gun.
The suspect reached over the counter and took money from the register.
