Trooper Michael Brown found the body a short distance from the van. Investigators were trying to determine if the manís body was thrown or washed out of the van. The manís name hasnít been released.
Capt. Todd Cranfill of the Harmony Fire Department said he didnít see the van Friday when he helped the landowner repair the fence. Cranfill said the fence frequently is hit by motorists who run off a curve in the road.
