A Salisbury couple were charged Friday with marijuana possession.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police conducted a search at 1860 Sells Road.
During this search, 66 grams of marijuana and a set of digital scales were located in a bedroom shared by Avera Blackwell, 37, and Jermaine Turner, 30.
The two were charged with the following: possession with intent to sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were both placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $2,500 secured bond.
They have since been released.
