Staff report
A chase in China Grove involving a motorcycle ended with at least three people being taken to the hospital.
Rowan County Sheriff Deputy C.T. Earnhardt was dispatched to an alarm call Tuesday at 6:39 p.m. in the area of N.C. 152 west.
He pulled into a nearby parking lot where he noticed a motorcycle pass him. Earnhardt pulled back onto the roadway and the motorcycle accelerated, said Sheriff’s Capt. John Sifford.
The motorcycle passed a tractor trailer and pickup and the officer lost sight of him, Sifford said.
