Police blotter: Thief swipes $350 in change from laundromat

Vue Coin Laundry, 813 S. Fulton St. reported on May 20 someone pried open the coin machine and removed $300 in quarters. The person also broke into the office, removed $50 in quarters and 20 keys to the washer and dryers.
The Salisbury Police are investigating.

– Branson Pethel reported on May 20 someone attempted to break into his vehicle at 122 N. Lee St.
– Tommy Bryan Goodman reported on May 21 someone broke the front passenger-side window out while the car was parked at Rowan County ABC, 510 N. Lee St., also taken were Oakley sunglasses, medication and an iPod.
– Benjamin Franklin Simpson reported on May 20 bicycle theft at 201 W. Fisher St.
– Branson Pethel reported on May 20 a suspect attempted to break into their vehicle at 122 N Lee St.
– Arthur William Feamster, 44, was arrested on charges of assaulting a female at 425 S. Church St.
– A 24-year-old female reported on May 20 that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her at Statesville Boulevard.
– Grimes Mill Museum reported on May 20 someone damaged windows with rocks at 600 North Church St.
– Poppa Topps reported on May 20 a someone broke a window at 902 South Main St.
– Tractor Supply Co. reported on May 20 someone stole a trailer carrying a lawn mower valued at $2,698 from the store at 405 South Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Wal-Mart reported on May 20 shoplifting of various items valued at $67.56 at 323 S. Arlington St.
– Salisbury Motor Co. reported on May 20 an embezzlement that occurred from the past few years at 700 W. Innes St.
– Damario Jamel Harper, 19, was charged May 20 with misdemeanor assault on a female at 612 Mocksville Ave.
– Desmond Dewayne Toomer, 24, was charged May 20 with assault on a female by male over 18 years of age at 425 S. Church St.
– Arthur William Feamster, 44, was charged May 20 with misdemeanor assault on a female at 417 Elm St.
