KANNAPOLIS ó To keep roads open for emergency vehicles, the Kannapolis Police Department requests the public’s help with the parking problem around the football stadium at A.L. Brown High School.
Due to construction around the campus, many of the designated parking areas are not accessible. This has increased the number of vehicles parking on the streets.
The residential streets around the stadium are not wide enough to allow parking on both sides of the street and still accommodate the passage of emergency vehicles.
In an effort to ensure public safety, parking will only be allowed on one side of the street. Temporary signs and markings will be in place as a reminder that parking will only be allowed in designated areas.
