New inductee into Phi Theta Kappa
Perry L Harris will be inducted into the Alpha Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Nov. 20.
Harris, from Spencer, majoring in biological sciences, is the son of Perry and Carolyn Harris of Salisbury and is married to Sara L. Harris.
Established in 1918 by two-year college presidents, Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world.
The society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development.
