Moore’s Chapel AME Zion Church, 500 Partee St. will host a community health fair on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The event will consist of quality home health agencies and health care providers that will enlighten, inspire and provide information that will help with early detection of health problems and other community resources for health care needs.
On hand will be Teresa Hoover, senior director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter and Dr. Bryant Norman Jr. DDS PA, for family dentistry.
Maxim Health Care Services will provide flu shots and perform blood sugar glucometer checks.
There will be representatives form Rowan Hospice and Pallative Care, Home Instead, Comfort Keepers, Family Abuse Crisis Counseling, the Department of Social Services, CHI ETA PHI Nursing Sorority and other health providers.
