Ministry graduate
Laura A. Washington, first lady of Solid Rock Church of God, received her doctor of ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, in December.
She holds a master of arts in theological studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte and a bachelor of science degree in management from Rutgers University, Rutgers, N.J.
She is director of Christian education at Solid Rock, where her husband, the Rev. Samuel A. Washington, M. Div., is pastor.
