MILLBRIDGE ó Lawn mower races will be added to the lineup Saturday night at the Millbridge Speedway at 6590 Mooresville Road.
Melvin McAllister, track operator, said a professional group of lawn mower racers will be featured along with the regular go-kart drivers.
The mower race is an advance for a big event planned May 30 which will feature 75 lawn mowers. Some of the mowers can hit 80 mph.
Racing gets under way at 8 p.m. with practice starting at 6 p.m.
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children ages 6 to 12.
