CONCORD ó A Midland man has been arrested for shooting another Midland resident around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
John Edward Flowe Jr., 58, of 13511 Broadway Ave., has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.
Cabarrus deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the Broadway Avenue location. They found Wesley Bruce Faulkner, 28, of 13565 Sterling Circle, with gunshot wounds in his leg.
He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast, where he was reported to be in guarded condition.
Flowe is in Cabarrus County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
