A Pennsylvania man was robbed at gunpoint outside a local hotel early Monday morning.
The victim, Amandeep Singh, 24, was robbed at 1:17 a.m. outside the Economy Inn, 319 Bendix Drive.
A man approached him, he told police, and asked if he wanted to buy some drugs.
Singh told the suspect no and the suspect asked if he were sure. He answered no, again.
The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet. He gave him money and then turned over his wallet.
Singh jumped into his vehicle and took off. He told police the suspect and another man in an older model Oldsmobile or Buick followed him until he reached Interstate 85. He called 911.
The Salisbury Police are looking for a black male, 6 feet 2 to 6 feet 3, in his early 20s, with dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Singh, who is in the Navy, was heading to Florida.
