A Concord man is in the Rowan County Detention Center facing 16 counts of first-degree statutory rape.
Bryan Keith Belk, 21, of 35 Burage Road, Concord, is being held under a $500,000 bond. He makes a first court appearance Monday.
According to arrest reports, Belk is accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl who was a family acquaintance.
The date of the alleged offenses range from Dec. 1, 2008, to March 9.
