A South Carolina man charged last week with taking indecent liberties with three young girls killed himself over the weekend, authorities said.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Larry Maynard Clark, 62, of 2017-A Henry Road, Chester, with three counts of first-degree sex offense with a child and four counts of indecent liberties with a child.
The man knew the victims, who were all under the age of 13, authorities said. The youngest was 6.
South Carolina officials notified Rowan County investigators that Clark’s body was discovered Saturday at his Chester home.
He died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
