A Salisbury man has been charged with sending obscene material to and improperly touching a teenager.
Billy Lee Eidson, 51, of 924 W. Horah St., faces three counts of indecent liberties with a minor and six counts of disseminating obscene materials to a minor.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said Eidson knows the girl, who was 13 at the time of the incidents.
The incidents occurred over a three-month period, from January to March.
Eidson sent the girl Web sites containing obscene sexual acts via a cell phone, a warrant and officials say.
The incidents involved inappropriate touching, said Sheriff’s Capt. John Sifford.
Eidson remained in the Rowan County Detention Center on Wednesday under a $150,000 bond.
