Kann. police say man sold counterfeit items
A Charlotte man has been charged with trying to sell counterfeit merchandise at a store he owns.
Nabil Hani Kjmelfilfil, 43, of 3235 Harris Mill, was charged with possession with intent to sell counterfeit merchandise. An arrest warrant says the offense date was Oct. 29. The warrant does not name the store.
The warrant says he had several items of jewelry, including counterfeit versions of Chanel, Phat Farm, Nike, Playboy and Rocawear merchandise. The total value of the jewelry was $5,225.
Kannapolis Police arrested the man Thursday. Kjmelfilfil was given a written promise to appear in court. His first court appearance is Monday.
