Man charged after kicking officer

Salisbury Police charged a Grubb Ferry Road man with several crimes, including assault on an officer.
Reports said Robin Otto Worth Jr., 25, of 2170 Grubb Ferry Road, kicked Officer K.C. Puranda during his arrest Thursday on a drug charge.
Worth also is charged with injury to real property, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and resisting a public officer.
Police said Worth ran from Salisbury Officer M.A. Hunter during his arrest. Worth allegedly had 69 grams of marijuana in his possession and is charged with damaging a privacy fence belonging to Michael and Teresa Bess.
Worth was placed under $10,000 bond. His first appearance in court is today.
