Rowan Public Library will hold its annual sale of books and audio-visual materials April 4-6 at the headquarters library on Fisher Street.
The Rowan County Board of Commissioners approved the request from the library to sell thousands of items withdrawn from circulation.
According to Melody Moxley, library services manager, the materials were withdrawn because of poor physical condition, lack of use or out-of-date information.
