The Goldmine Toastmasters Club will hold its annual Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests on Saturday, Sept. 26, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Kannapolis. Visitors are welcome.
Contestants will each perform a 5- to 7-minute humorous speech, and the winner will move on to compete at the area contest on Oct. 3rd. The winners there will compete at the division level, and then on to the state level on Nov. 7 in Asheville.
