KANNAPOLIS ó Police are seeking an 18-year-old Kannapolis resident in connection with a home burglary.
Aaron Harding Davidson of 601 Walter St., has been identified as a suspect in the March 17 burglary of a home at 5001 Century Drive.
Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Neighbors told police they saw people with flashlights inside the home of Kenneth Welch at 5001 Century Drive. Welch was not at home when the break-in occurred.
Police found the car in the drive at that address with Timothy James Ingram Jr., 20, of 306 Center St., sitting in the driver’s seat.
While officers were talking with Ingram, they heard noise in a wooded area behind the house.
Checking the area, they found several pieces of electronics scattered in the backyard, Lt. Ken Jackson said.
Police brought in a canine unit but did not catch anyone.
Police charged Ingram with second-degree burglary, larceny and possession of burglary tools, all felonies.
Warrants were issued for Nigual O’Keith Brown, 20, and Davidson.
Police are asking that anyone with information on Davidson’s whereabouts or other information related to the crime to call Cabarrus Area Crimestoppers at 704-932-7463.
